Instructors, professional and amateur musicians examine the role of music in our lives
cnbyrne9 April 2015
A beautifully done film about students, choral directors, singers and instrumentalists, professional and amateur, and the role that music plays in their lives. Truly moving for musicians and those who just appreciate music. I really enjoyed the audio especially, and the song at the end was beautifully performed by a young woman with a distinctive voice. The various choral and music directors from the high schools and colleges were particularly effective in encouraging people to not give up their instruments or musicianship after school is over. Music can remain an important part of their lives. The students also provided a lot of insight into the importance of music and performance continuing all throughout their lives. Those who had given it up for the purpose of making a living regretted it. The inspiration to keep the art alive in heart and soul was truly moving.
