Tom Hanks is one of those people who just seems to good to be true. He has consistently given brilliant performances on the screen winning two Oscars while playing everyone from Walt Disney to Mister Rogers to Colonel Tom Parker (and lets not forget Forrest Gump). He has also helped our veterans by helping to make the wonderful Band of Brothers tv series. I have always been a fan of his and its so strange that my favorite of his films is one of the few he's made that was not a hit at the box office The 'burbs even though it has gained a cult following. I loved watching this documentary about the making of the film that featured such a great supporting cast including Carrie Fisher, Corey Feldman and the man who killed the Duke Bruce Dern (playing a delightful comic role).
