- As Pasiphae's army besieges Atlantis Ariadne's troops flee in fear as the city seems destined to fall. Shocked by the carnage and impressed by Ariadne's courage Sarpedon admits his treachery and tries to atone by killing Pasiphae but is himself slain. Jason and his friends escape from the Cyclops and encounter the deserters, whom they inspire by revealing the palladium. The Colchians enter the city but are trapped by the defenders and the returning deserters and forced to retreat. Aferwards Ariadne thanks Jason but explains that she must place her role as queen above their relationship while Hercules learns from the Oracle that Jason is Pasiphae's son but agrees to keep the secret.—don @ minifie-1
- The Colchean army is strong enough to lay siege to Atlantis and achieve a breach, chasing the defenders to the citadel as desertions continue. Advisor Sarpedon confesses he plotted his revenge with Pasiphae, but convinces Ariadne to use him as double agent to kill her, but ends stabbed himself. Jason's mates carry him trough the tunnels, chased by a cyclops whom Hercules blinds, but escape by jumping into a river. Stumbuing back to Atlantis, they find Miras's deserters band and convince them, showing the palladium, to attempt breaking the siege. Just when the palace is about to fall, their surprise attack defeats the Colcheans, who must flee with heavy losses. Jason accepts Ariadne's sense of duty to Alantis excluding a non-royal marriage. Hercules forces the Oracle, having seen Pasiphae killed one of her man about to kill Jason, to reveal the reason is maternity, which Jason may not learn or he'll desert to evil.—KGF Vissers
