Sex & Nudity

  • There are scenes with naked corpses but with obscured views
  • Throughout the course of season 3, a woman in a mask is seen completely naked, with only a cloth covering the pubic region. She is seen for minutes at a time, in dim lighting you can hardly visualise anything, breasts are visible in these scenes.
  • Season 3 episode 2, a nude woman appears in front of Pablo.
  • Season 3: Episode 5 corpse is found naked
  • In season 2 episode 2 when ash is trying to find the necronomicon ruby hid it in corpses and when ash is trying to find it a womens breasts are fully seen and there's this leech creature in one of the corpses and a mans penis is seen VERY GRAPHIC, Faeces are also seen in a very disturbing way when ash gets his head stuck in a dead man's butt hole
  • In the first episode of season one you can briefly see a naked corpse
  • In the very first episode, two corpses can be seen naked
  • There's actually two sex scenes. One in the first episode of season 1, with mild nudity, with thrusting, but played for laughs, More then graphic. And another in season 3 episode 1, when ash meets his ex wife, and remembers who she is, and a flashback, plays a montage of them sleeping together, no nudity in this one.
  • Ruby is seen naked when she comes back to life after burning to death, you briefly see her breasts, and nude behind, but doesn't linger on the shots.
  • Lots sexual talk, mostly from ash, since he always dirty talks, and hits on women when he can.
  • There's no real nudity in this show.
  • There is a total of 1 sex scene, spanning 3 seasons with 10 episodes per season. No nudity in this scene. The scene lasts a few seconds.
  • Naked corpse with breast briefly visible in the background of season 3 episode 2.

Violence & Gore

  • Season 2 is more violent than season 1 and some scenes of violence in here include a man getting his face and head obliterated by the wheel of a car with very graphic results; Ash decapitating a deadite with his chainsaw hand, with incredibly huge amounts of blood spraying everywhere; a man being brutally mauled by a deadite, resulting in a ton of blood and gore spurting everywhere, etc.
  • In the diner sequence a deadite's head is repeatedly bashed with a meat tenderizer. Very brutal and quite bloody.
  • This show is more graphic than the original movie, the show has a better budget so it has more graphic deaths than the original.
  • The violence is on par with "Evil Dead (2013)".
  • Also in one episode, ash fights his evil clone, then a montage is showing as ash chainsaws his clones limbs off, and it doesn't cut away at all, you see all the closeups of the limbs being sliced off
  • Nonstop ultraviolence throughout the series with literal geysers of blood and gore are all present in this show, and all of this is clearly over the top and intentionally gross, but also very funny.
  • The following list lists all the violent content in the show.
  • A deadite attacks two police officers and a woman is stabbed, her partner is impaled on deer antler (brief, more implied) and she ultimately shoots the zombie in the head (very brief). Later, a deadite is killed in slow-motion. It's also very cartoonish and the CGI is apparent (which sets the comedic tone of the series).
  • In a comedic sequence, a deadite attacks two characters in a moving car. One of the characters stabs the deadite in the neck and face with a broken bottle resulting in blood spurting from the wound. A deadite possesses a woman's corpse.
  • A man is killed when a demonic entity hurls broken glass into his face. (More implied and not shown in closeup)
  • Ash has a vision quest in which he finds himself with his eyes sewn shut. He also has a vision of a man eating an eyeball (not bloody and very brief).
  • A character possessed by a demon urinates on herself and beats her head repeatedly until it's a bit bloodied against a board. The demon is killed and explodes into a cloud of green mist.
  • Deadites possess people in a diner resulting in chaos. A character is killed by being thrown into a fan blade (Implied), a deadite's head is blown off into mist.
  • Lots of gunplay and explosions in this episode, but notably a deadite is shot with a machine gun until nothing but blood spraying across another character.
  • A rotting hand is chopped off (not really shown, no blood) into pieces by a character.
  • A deadite breaks a character's leg (shown from a distance). Later a book bound in flesh is seen.
  • In one episode, Ash kills a deadite in the opening scene which results in blood covering him. A character summons demon children from an unwilling character that has a dead face adhered to his own as he spits demon fetuses out of his mouth. The fetuses grow quickly and scamper away, although one attacks Ash and he kills it with a shotgun blast, covering himself once again in blood-- although this blood is black. A female character explodes (only implied and said).

Profanity

  • As the series goes on f words get more frequent.
  • season 1 has 105 uses of the f-word 84 uses of sh-t 43 uses of h-ll 15 uses of the b-word season 2 has 113 uses of the f-word 64 uses of sh-t 35 uses of a-s 30 uses of h-ll season 3 has 117 uses of the f-word 96 uses of sh-t 21 uses of a-s 34 uses of h-ll
  • Casual profanity is used, but not excessive.
  • "Fuck" is said 1-3 times per episode, except for the Season 1 finale which has give or take 10 F-bombs.
  • "Shit", "ass", "hell", "damn", etc. are casually used and scattered throughout.
  • Sexual references are used occasionally in the show, but not frequently.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Ash is usually drunk, or is seen drinking cans of beer
  • Ash also does weed sometimes along with Pablo and Kelly
  • The whole series started because ash got badly stoned with a woman, and accidentally read from the evil book.
  • Ash and another woman are seen smoking marijuana in a flashback.
  • Brujo instructs Ash to take hallucinogenic medicine, and we see Ash having a trip throughout most of the episode.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Easily one of the most violent shows ever made. While it's comedic, most of the kills are practical effects, and some scenes are scary with its violence and gore, while also being funny, but still, if you have a weak heart, don't watch this show
  • Plenty of jumpscares in the show
  • The entire series contains graphic violence, not to mention that the violence of this show goes on par with "American Horror Story", but the tone of the series is very playful, comedic and goofy, which tones down the impact of the violence.
