- TriviaThe monologue that Angie recites is from "A Doll's House" by the Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen.
- GoofsWhen Dottie starts to set up her shot, she puts her eye right on the scope. No trained sniper would ever do that mainly because the recoil would damage the eye. However, she is not taking a shot but using the scope to see the detail of the message Dr. Ivchenko is sending to her.
- Quotes
Peggy Carter: [Going through a list of women Howard Stark "entertained" in order to determine which might be the Russian spy/assassin] How could he possibly meet this many women?
Edwin Jarvis: The Academy Awards is a very busy time.
[Seeing that Peggy is crossing several names off the list]
Edwin Jarvis: What are you doing?
Peggy Carter: A large portion of the women on this list are well known actresses, models and socialites. Publicly established for several years. They can be disregarded.
Edwin Jarvis: Well, I wouldn't dismiss her.
Peggy Carter: You think Ginger Rogers is a Russian assassin?
Edwin Jarvis: You should have seen her eyes when I escorted her from Mr. Stark's villa. The darkest gates to the abyss.

I did love the larger focus on Dottie as it shows both her innocent facade and dangerous, terrifying self. She is one truly great villain. And that plays well against Atwell's heroic performance.
I did like the action in this episode especially in the automat with the accompanying music. The action in this series as a whole is great but it was intriguing to watch Carter and Jarvis take on some agents.
Angie was awesome too, using her acting chops to fool the agents in order to help Peggy. Just that scene is hilarious because it makes it so awkward for Thompson and Sousa that they have to leave.
I am now glad that both Carter and the rest of the SSR are at the same stage of the investigation, not necessarily the same side though. I did find it annoying the use of Yauch. Sure, he wasn't really important or focused on in any episode, just sort of there. But the sudden focus on him in this episode and his death was sort of odd. I understand the need for him to let Ivchenko progress with his plans it was just odd that Yauch had no development before this and yet had a significant amount of screen time before being thrown under the bus. *wink wink*
+ Contrast between Dottie and Carter + Automat action + Fonseca's Angie - Ivchenko working for Leviathan didn't surprise me - Use of Yauch
