An absolutely positively wonderful way to spend an hour

This documentary covers the ascent of women in the US space program. It starts out at the very beginning when people thought the very idea of women in space was ridiculous right up to the female commanders of the space station and space shuttle.

It addresses why women were much better suited than men when the space program first started. It addresses the various and crazy ideas people at NASA had about how to create a urination solution for women in space. Actually that was quite funny.

You don't need to be a feminist or anything like that to enjoy this documentary. You just need to like the space program, that's all. It also covers what Nichelle Nichols, also known as Uhura from Star Trek, did for the space program. All in all it's a very, very enjoyable documentary.
