Sex & Nudity

- Female nudity is seen sometimes.
- A sex scene on a couch. The woman slowly disrobes down to her thong revealing most of her buttocks for some time. Then her bare buttocks and, briefly, one of her bare breasts are visible as she removes her thong and sits on the man's lap. Passionate kissing is seen, thrusting is briefly seen, and moaning is heard.
- Many scenes of women in revealing outfits e.g. lingerie or underwear.
- A sex scene between a married couple. Loud moaning and visible thrusting but no nudity. Meant for laughs.
- A woman's naked corpse is seen.
- A naked woman is found lying on the ground. Bare breasts and buttocks are visible.
- A sex scene in a motel. The woman's bare back and the top of her buttcrack are visible as she rides the man. Her bare breasts are briefly visible as he touches them. The scene is meant to be uncomfortable and is shot to make the viewer feel claustrophobic. It goes on for quite long to reinforce this feeling.
- A naked woman sits on a bed. Then she goes to the bathroom and takes a shower. Bare breasts are visible for some time. Her bare buttocks is briefly visible.
- There are a a couple of sex scenes, with brief nudity (mostly obscured) and a few brief references to sexual acts.
Violence & Gore

- A man punches a woman in the face and she gets a bloody nose.
- A rotting corpse is seen with a large wound in its eye and a decapitated head. This corpse is seen multiple times throughout the series.
- A woman is shot in the side of the head through a pillow, afterwards we see her dead body with some blood and brain matter coming from the wound.
- A documentary of lions killing and eating a wildebeest is watched by one of the characters, blood is seen for a few seconds.
- A character loses control of their car and it rolls down a hill, but they aren't injured.
- A man stabs a woman to death, we see him stabbing her and blood goes everywhere. He stabs another woman offscreen and we hear her scream, and we then see him covered in blood.
- A man is shot in the chest three times. He falls over and his face and torso are covered in blood.
- A man crushes another man's head with his bare hands, blood falls everywhere.
- A recently-shot man shows his bullet wound to another person. Not very graphic.
- A man breaks into a woman's house and attacks her. We don't see anything happen onscreen but we hear a scream and a loud thud, and afterwards we see her lying on the floor with a pool of blood around her.
- A woman hits a man with a TV remote and he gets a bruised and slightly bloody eye. This scene is meant to be humorous and is not very graphic.
- A man is shot in the face, a large wound is made and gore splatters onto the camera. The shooter then shoots another man in the chest causing a large wound and he falls over. The second man gasps for air and is shot again offscreen, killing him.
- A man locked in a prison cell has a wound on his mouth that is constantly leaking blood. The man seems to have some kind of brain damage.
- A man is hit in the face with a door and gets a bloody nose and mouth before quickly falling over.
- A man is shot in the back and falls over.
- A man crushes a woman's skull on screen. We see the action happening onscreen but the aftermath is not seen. The camera is very shaky throughout the scene.
- A woman's face splits open. The fleshy mass is seen floating. Quite gory but is more meant to be weird/surreal.
- All throughout there are very graphic and intense scenes of physical violence including people getting beaten, strangled and skulls getting smashed. There's incredibly graphic gun violence, electrocutions, decapitations, vomiting and car crashes and explosions. There's also a scene depicting an offscreen suicide.
Profanity

- Throughout the series words like "Fuck" and "Shit" are used, but can vary from once to 30+ times depending on the episode. Casual profanity is throughout. "Cunt" is said four times.
- The profanity is much stronger than the original series.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Many characters drink and smoke throughout. There are also references to drugs, drug use and possession, specifically cocaine and marijuana.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- There are many scenes that are intentionally meant to be frightening, confusing and disturbing to the viewer throughout the entire show. In general this season is much darker than the original series and it does not contain very much of the quirkiness or humour that it's predecessor had.
- A fair amount of scenes featuring flashing lights and VERY shakey camera movements.
- Multiple intense scenes of vomiting (sometimes with blood) that can be uncomfortable for viewers.
- The sound design of the show can be very unsettling. The background audio in many scenes can be jarring or uncomfortable to listen to, and some sound effects like screams can be scary for some viewers.
- One scene of a character committing suicide via gunshot to the head (offscreen).
- The entire show is extremely surreal and hard to follow, presenting itself as a fever dream or a nightmare. This means that throughout the show, there is much disturbing imagery, violent sequences, and many scary moments
- A huge section of the show takes place in a nightmarish place called 'The Black Lodge'. A man encounters frightening imagery such as a talking fleshy tree and a woman with stitched eyes among others.

Sex & Nudity
- A naked female entity is seen. She is dimly lit and shaking out of focus, but you can still make out her breasts and genitals.
- A woman mentions that she was raped.
Violence & Gore
- A man and a woman are attacked by an unknown entity. They are covered in blood and killed. The camera is very shakey during this scene so it is hard to tell what is going on. Later their corpses are seen, their heads are missing large sections and they are still covered in blood.
- A woman is shot in the face with a gun and a large wound is seen where her eye would be.
- A small boy is hit by a speeding truck and is covered in blood. He is killed and the scene is very upsetting.
- A man's head suddenly explodes. We don't see this happen onscreen but we hear an uncomfortable cracking sound and blood is seen. Then we see the aftermath and the entire top half of his head is missing, creating what looks like a large hole in his head.
- During an arm wrestling match a man breaks another man's arm in order to win and then punches him in the face incredibly hard once to the point his face caves in and he is killed.
- A man shoots another man in the leg so that he can't run away from him. The victim lies on the floor in pain for a while and a bit of blood is seen. He is then shot in the head and dies, a pool of blood is seen coming from his head.
- A woman suddenly bites a off a large chunk of a man's neck. Blood goes everywhere and the wound is very detailed and gory, part of his throat can be seen sticking out.
- A man electrocutes himself by sticking a fork in a power outlet and is put into a coma.
- A man is painfully electrocuted. He explodes into a bunch of sparks before disappearing.
- Three characters have a gunfight, a woman is shot in the arm and blood sprays on the window near her. She is then shot in the head and the man next to her is shot in the torso multiple times. Bullet wounds are seen all over both of their bodies and there is a fair bit of blood. They both die.
- A woman draws her gun on some people across from her. Before she can shoot at them they both fire and shoot her dead. Her body disappears suddenly after she is killed. No gore or blood.
- A man is attacked by a floating orb containing a human head. The man gets a bloody nose during this fight.
- A man shoots himself in the head offscreen. Nothing is seen but a gunshot is heard and the scene can be quite sad.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A woman recounts the story of her being raped. While she doesn't describe any of the sexual acts in detail (she only says "he raped me") the scene is very intense and upsetting.
- A woman has sex with a man who had previously raped her. The scene is very hard to watch and is meant to make the viewer uncomfortable.
- The scene where Sarah Palmer takes off her face and bites someone's neck out is very disturbing.
- The scene where The Experiment comes out to kill Sam and Tracy is very disturbing. The Experiment is a very disturbing design and blood is seen on the walls and on Sam and Tracy.
