There was supposed to be a match between the Insane Clown Posse (Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope) and the Headbangers (Mosh (Chaz Warrington) and Thrasher (Glenn Ruth)), as part of the Oddities-Headbangers feud, but Violent J insisted that they weren't ready. Luna Vachon (Trudy Vachon), the manager of The Oddities, was so stunned by this that she spoke in her normal voice instead of the monster voice she'd been using for over a decade. Kurrgan (Robert Maillet) and Golga (John Tenta) took the match instead, and lost after ICP turned heel on the Oddities.
The "Marvelous" Marc Mero-Goldust (Dustin Rhodes) match went to a no-contest when Jacqueline (Jacqueline Moore), who had been Mero's valet, and Terri Runnels), who, as Marlena, was Goldust's director (and Dustin "Goldust" Runnels' real-life wife at the time), kicked the men in the groins. Their pairing would eventually be named Pretty Mean Sisters, or PMS, typical of Vince Russo's sense of humor and love of "funny" acronyms.
Featured Kane (Glenn Jacobs) rescuing Stone Cold Steve Austin from the Undertaker (Mark Calaway) and Paul Bearer (William Moody)'s attempt to embalm him.
