The uncommon (and welcome) Adam/Erica episode
George Costanza put it best:
"It's not a lie ... if you believe it."
Which is something Erica's trying to get across to Adam with lousy results. The other storyline features Beverly going to war with Dave Kim's Mom's Chinese restaurant - and it's food humor done right. It's actually pretty well done all around, really highlighting a mom's sacred role in the household ecosystem.
But Adam's half is also personal, touching on friendship and family (of which Muscles Mirsky is apart). But in all honesty, this is where Dan Bakkedahl gets to steal the show. I kinda wish I had a science teacher like that growing up. His snark is glorious.

I Rode a Hoverboard
It was nice to see a different sort of 'Goldbergs' episode, especially one that paired Adam and Erica up for a storyline.
Dave Kim is a great recurring character too.
Great fun.
