O.k. I have to admit, I accidentally caught this show while flipping through channels and this guy Vito was talking about how his fiancé was suppose to clean up after him, turn down the bed for him, fold his clothes in a ridiculously anal manner, and all sorts of non sense.
Are you kidding me!? Grow up, be a man! Do things for yourself, better yet, do things for each other. Marriage is a team effort. Women are not here to serve men! Didn't you get the memo!? So totally sickening! And the mother in law calling her soon to be daughter in law a vessel for children. Can't wait for these archaic traditions to die with these older generations. Can't believe people are still like this. On the other hand, Chris was endearing.
Will avoid this show, unless I need my blood boiled.

I didn't like Caroline Manzo and the whole Manzo clan from the real housewives of New Jersey. Matriarch Caroline Manzo preaches about how she raised three children with her husband Al Manzo, co-owner of The Brownstone wedding and banquet hall in Paterson, New Jersey. The family lives in the suburb, Franklin Lakes. Al is always working. Their daughter Lauren is marrying Vito whose parents run an independent Italian grocery store. Sons Albie is a law school dropout and Chris works for a living. I don't see what wonders Caroline and Al have done in parenting. Their children are not overachievers by upper class standards. The Manzos worked their way from Paterson to Franklin Lakes but their children don't seen that motivated to do the same. Part of being in the upper classes is the education. Chris and Lauren don't even have associates degrees just connections. They send the wrong message about using your family's connections to get ahead in life.
