After a poor second episode it was pleasing to see this modern interpretation of 'The Odd Couple' get back on form with this funny episode.
Yes, Thomas Lennon still looks much more comfortable in his role than Matthew Perry does in his, but what is nice is that this incarnation seems to be much more of an ensemble show, with Lindsay Sloane and Wendell Pierce being given a fair bit to do. The only one that doesn't seem to work as yet is Dave Foley's Roy.
What's also nice about this version is that there are attempts at genuine heartfelt moments, and perhaps we don't need this every episode, but they're nice touches.
A strong episode, full of some nice moments and farcical elements.
