Buddy: Tech Detective is an extremely gritty, moving, and disturbing crime-thriller, which features a plethora of outstanding, Oscar-worthy performances, including the talented Kyla Rae Kowalewski, who is know for her work in the incredibly immersive Ni Hao, Kai-Lan DS game.
Like I said, this film can be very disturbing at times, especially when the killers are confessing to the variety of ways they have tragically ended their next victim. Some scenes even chilled me to the bone.
This hyper realistic take really set the tone for most other thrillers, and was a key influence on others. Although I enjoyed most of it, most of its extreme violence can be tough at times, which led to my mother throwing up over my DVD player. Not cool.
Anyway, 7/10, as it's story is outstanding. Well done!

A disgrace to modern cinema!!!

This film can be summed up in one word, a monstrosity!!!! The dialogue was clunky, animation quality was poor and there was too much exposition. Also, there was some very disturbing scenes. Think 50 shades of grey and toy story had given birth to the anti christ. I would rather be subjected to watching every film starring Alec Baldwin than sit through this 16 minute disaster again. DO NOT WATCH UNLESS YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH!!
