- 'Where The Heart Lies" is a drama/thriller that delves into the modern day enigma of "good men." Hollywood has adopted and exacerbated a myriad of false notions about men that call for the shedding of light upon real issues; issues that lead to the demise of our relationships, and the breakdown of the family unit.—Tony Lindsay
- The main character, Brave Williams, is a young, black successful entrepreneur, who is driven by his desire to do the right thing for his community, due in large part to the positive and extremely powerful influence of his parents-especially his father. Brave comes from a very strong family background, which played a major role in molding him into the driven and successful man of character that he is today. He is a loving partner, and a devoted father to his young son-qualities that far too often go unnoticed in men today. Many women today complain that men like Brave Williams dont exist, but Where Hearts Lie allows the audience to see things clearly from a new perspectiveone that allows for self-reflection on the part of all viewers.
This film explores the unfavorable results of childhood trauma, abandonment, violence, mental illness and abuse. In addition, if forces to the forefront the selfish and unrealistic expectations that often lead to the total breakdown of the family unit. There is an overwhelming existence of Brave Williams in the world today, and it is time that the world knows it.
