- Quotes
Barry Allen: I mean, this is crazy. There are literally hundreds of thousands of people in Central City and, out of everyone you could have picked to rob, you pick me.
Mugger: What, are you sick? Money. Now.
Barry Allen: I just... You're really gonna be kicking yourself, man. I mean, if there was an Olympics for bad luck, you didn't just medal, pal. You Michael Phelps-ed.

The Flash had lost his powers, Joe and Iris have been taken hostage, Starlabs is completely shutdown because of Blackout. These gave way to such tremendous amount of good bits shown on screen than any Flash episode. The action was entertaining to watch as usual and gets you pumped whenever it starts. The music blends well with the episode and adds up to the intense scenes. The episode had also tried to reach such a dark turn in scenes which was a great improvement as well. The visuals were still great as usual, although there were scenes wherein the CGI looks off, then certain moments where they look fantastic. I deeply hope that they do not lose enough budget that would cause the visuals to go on a downhill because they are truly one of the highlights of the show. I was impressed by Robert Knepper's performance as "Clock King". He had a Joker vibe within him and I hope he would be seen more in future episodes. Blackout was more of a so-so villain for me and was just like any other meta human villain shown in the previous episodes. However he might be the key for an iconic Flash villain such as Reverse Flash. As for the plot, I was never bored or felt any sense of going out of my seat. Easily the most entertaining and well rounded Flash episode so far with it's high scale level scenes and finally great dialogue.
+A step up for the Flash series, +Excellent Plot, +Cool Action, +Great Music, -CGI looked off and mediocre at certain scenes, +Clock King, -Blackout mediocre villain, +A glue to your seat episode.
I can't wait to see Arrow on the Flash yet again for next week's episode.
Verdict: 9.4/10
