- Mike's problems are compounded when Rachel reveals her secret, Harvey looks for a way to get Mike back on his feet, and Jessica gives Louis a chance to choose a reward after his big win.
- In the fallout of the Gillis deal and Forstman's betrayal, friends, associates, lovers and colleagues regroup to pick up the fallen pieces. Jessica offers Louis "a gift" as a reward for bringing a conclusion to the firm -- anything he can name (except a full partnership). Louis eventually finds the right gift to befit his image as a hero.—statmanjeff
- At Mike and Rachel's place, he comes home after cleaning out his desk. He's despondent and she struggles to cheer him up.
Louis commiserates to Katrina about feeling guilty that he broke the law to win. She tries to convince him he did what he needed to do.
Harvey tracks down Cahill at a bar and gives him a write-up detailing all of Cahill's moves, including targeting Harvey's clients and following him. He's going to show it to a judge in ten days.
Forstman finds Mike on the street and hands him a signing bonus for a million dollars. Mike turns him down again, but Forstman gives him 24 hours to think about it.
Jessica asks Louis what he would like as reward for his great work with Forstman. Louis wants to be a name partner, but that's not in the cards just yet and she puts him in his place. He'll get back to her.
Donna tells Harvey that Mike got fired and thinks he should go see him.
Harvey drops by Mike's place. Mike tells Harvey that Forstman was the reason he got fired and is now offering him a job. Harvey suggests getting Jessica to bring him back. Mike thinks that's impossible.
Mike reaches out to Stan Jacobson, whom he helped fire from his accounting position because he had a fake diploma. Mike asks how he was able to start over and Stan says the key is learning that how much money you make is less important than who you spend your time with. Stan has time to hear Mike's "complicated" story, but Mike takes a rain check.
Louis wants Katrina to help him figure out what to ask for from Jessica. She promises to find him a list of demands befitting a hero.
Harvey goes to see Jonathan in an attempt to get Mike his job back. It doesn't work.
Malone thanks Louis for catching his error. Annoyed at being interrupted from selecting his gift, Louis tells him it was Jessica who told him to check Malone's work.
An angry Malone confronts Jessica with this new information. She tells him she trusted HIM but didn't trust his work on Wexler. For Malone that's the same thing.
Harvey asks Jessica about Mike returning. She says she's sleeping better since Mike left and doesn't want to return to those days.
Rachel comes home to find a much happier Mike cooking dinner. He says he's figured out he doesn't want to be an investment banker anymore. All he cares about is Rachel. "As long as I have you, I have everything." Rachel starts crying and tells Mike that she kissed Logan. Stunned, he leaves straightaway.
Mike goes to Logan's place and tells him to stay away from Rachel. This leads to a fistfight where both men end up bloodied. At Mike leaves, Logan says "she let it go on a long time... and she didn't just like it, she loved it."
Distraught, Rachel shows up at Donna's door. Donna (extremely good at figuring people out) knows Mike went to see Harvey.
Mike shows up at Harvey's door. Mike says he needs to know if what Logan told him about Rachel is true. Harvey says he won't learn anything tonight. (Mike overnights with Harvey while Rachel overnights with Donna.)
The following morning, Mike waits for Rachel in the office downstairs lobby. He asks her to tell him exactly what took place and she admits that it "meant something when it happened." With trust broken, and Mike tells Rachel "we're done."
Louis, quickly spotting Rachel's upset, tries to comfort her, saying no problems are insurmountable when two people love each other, but it doesn't work. She points out that he and Sheila loving each other wasn't enough to keep them together. She doesn't think anything matters without the one person she wants to share things with. This impacts Louis.
Rachel finds Logan waiting in her office. Logan thinks the reason she told Mike is that she wants to be with Logan. She makes it clear they will never be together and she will never speak with him again, either personally or professionally.
Louis tells Jessica that for his reward he'd like to amend his contract to include more vacation time and the ability to telecommute. He says this is in effort to get Sheila back. Jessica gives her approval.
Donna tells Rachel, too upset to work, to go see Mike. Rachel leaves the building and Donna tells Harvey he needs to speak with Mike. Harvey refuses to get in the middle of their relationship, and if he did it wouldn't be to defend Rachel.
Jessica tells Malone she doesn't want to lose him over something work-related. He's happy with this dialogue and it seems their relationship is in a good place.
Louis and Forstman go over the final terms of the contract. Forstman is worried nothing keeps Louis from turning on him down the road. Forstman wants Louis to personally accept money so they are more completely in bed together. Louis does it, reluctantly. On his way out Louis runs into Mike. Mike tells him he's there to accept a job from Forstman and Louis tries to talk him out of it. He knows what's going on with Rachel and Mike.
Louis tricks Jessica and Harvey into meeting with him. He says he's hired Mike back at the firm. He rescinds his vacation request and says this is the reward he wants. Louis leaves the room and Harvey tells Jessica, if they tell Louis no, he'll figure out something is up with Mike. Jessica realizes he's right.
Harvey and Mike talk about him returning. Harvey says he admires what he has with Rachel because it's "real." Harvey suggests he go home and talk to her.
Harvey meets with Logan, making it clear that after the deal becomes official the following morning, their business relationship is over. Donna, looking on, approves. At the elevator, Logan spots Rachel and realizes he's lost her, too.
Rachel returns home to find Mike waiting. He says he's there to get his things. Mike tells her, if she wants there to be a future with them, then she needs to step out of the apartment a while longer and let him get his stuff together. She leaves and he finishes packing.
