A traveling salesman has had too much water to drink and pulls in to a deserted roadside rest stop late at night on a lonely Texas highway. While looking for a rest stop the radio warns him of a killer who is stalking the very highway he is traveling on and warns of one man, who has already been brutally stabbed to death by the killer. At the rest stop he meets Scott Jacobs who's car has broken down while he is on the way to a nearby town where his wife is in labor and the doctors are getting ready to induce. Should Brad help Scott Jacobs, or will he be placing his life in immanent danger if he does ?
