Of unlikely rockstars, attractive cleaning ladies and puppy love
This consists of interviews with the cast and crew, all of whom have something compelling to add within their area of expertise(and there is a very clear love of what they're working on), clips from the movie, and behind-the-scenes footage.
It's 10 minutes long. This is found on the library copy of Love Actually. It reunites the team behind Four Weddings and a Funeral and Notting Hill. Curtis draws on his experience with his own friends; the films got less personal as they've gone on, you can see in The Tall Guy and Four Weddings a definite Richard world, mirrored the people that one knows in his world. Love Actually, in many ways is more disparate it's 8, 9, 10 different stories, and obviously some of them are purely fictitious. He describes how it started: "I decided that films are taking such a long time, they take about three years in the end, that means if I wanted to go on writing romantic films, I would spend the rest of my life doing it; so I decided what I try and do 10 of them, all at the same time, and see whether I could intertwine them".
Firth: "Aurelia is a very attractive girl; she has this amazing capacity to make herself invisible at the beginning, this rather shrinking presence, who just gradually starts to blossom as the story goes on". Lúcia found that it was very easy to work with the director, Kenworthy, Colin, who she calls "amazing, very supportive", and the whole crew. It's due to Duncan that the Karl/Sarah story is a bit more interesting between the two of them; because it was just written as another Englishman, and he said "I don't think anyone could fantasize for 2 years about an Englishman that they were working with. Nobody could be that attractive and English".
I recommend this to any fan of the property. 8/10
