Marvel Studios Reportedly Eyes Ryan Coogler to Direct X-Men Reboot - Main Image
Marvel Studios reportedly prepares for the much-awaited X-Men reboot after Disney acquired its rights from 20 Century Fox in 2019. Though details about this highly-anticipated project remain under wraps, the studio is allegedly eyeing Ryan Coogler to direct the film.
Coogler has been known for creating critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies, like the 2018 Black Panther.
The film didn’t just break numerous box office records, becoming the highest-grossing film of all time by an African American director.
But it also brought the franchise three Oscar wins and several nominations, including Best Picture, a first for a superhero movie.
That said, it would be no surprise if Marvel chooses Coogler to helm its X-Men reboot.

This article contains spoilers for The Boys season 3 episode 1 and Doctor Stranger in the Multiverse of Madness.
The Boys season 3 opens in a place where the show hasn’t dared tread before: the cinema. After filming a whole superhero movie in season 2, The Boys now entreats viewers to the fruits of Vought International and director Adam Bourke’s (P.J. Byrne’s) labor in the first five minutes of season 3. And what a five minutes they are!
Dawn of the 7 is an Avengers or Justice League-style superhero teamup film starring the superpowered members of Vought’s premier team. In a bit of brilliant corporate synergy, the film apparently underwent some expensive reshoots to incorporate the events of Homelander’s (Antony Starr) life in season 2, namely his unfortunate romance with secret Nazi supe Stormfront (Aya Cash).
These reshoots allow The Boys to make some jokes at both the Dceu and Star Wars’ expense.

It’s quite clear that we’ll get more Marvel series on Disney+ this year — arguably more than Star Wars series.
At the top of the first Disney/Marvel TCA session, President of Marvel Studios and Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige gave a brief rundown of the studio’s plans.
March 5 marks the end of Season 1 of WandaVision. Then on March 19, The Falcon and the Winter Solider is debuting. That will run six episodes, with a speculated season end date (if Disney doesn’t skip weeks) of April 23.
The next big event in the MCU to happen after Falcon and the Winter Soldier is the feature release of Black Widow on May 7. However, it’s not clear if all global markets will be open by then as Covid-19 quells and vaccinations swell. Disney will know in the next month whether it will move the Scarlett Johansson movie. It’s not...

“We’re in the endgame now.”
If you’ve seen Avengers: Infinity War with your own two eyes – which we assume you have by this point – you’ll be pretty familiar with Doctor Strange’s bleak prophecy, telling us that out of 14 million possible outcomes, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes only managed to succeed in one, which doesn’t exactly bode well for Avengers 4.
Still, if our beloved characters stand an outside chance of toppling Thanos in 2019, it seemingly lies with Tony Stark. Or so says the latest McU video from YouTuber Ryan Walsh (Aka Webhead). Essentially, the theory supposes that Doctor Strange chose to spare Stark as he’s due to play a major role in Avengers 4 (no surprise there), when Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will seemingly mount one final counter-attack against Marvel’s Mad Titan.
But this video essay digs a little deeper into Doctor Stranger’s master plan than just that,...

If you thought nothing could scare an Avenger, think again. Benedict Cumberbatch proved otherwise during Friday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Everything seemed to be going well for the Doctor Stranger character. The Avengers: Infinity War star was talking to Ellen DeGeneres about the kind of movies he hasn't done, including musicals and horror films. During this discussion, the actor admitted he scares very easily and has a "rampant" imagination. Next thing he knew, a person dressed as Iron Man jumped out from DeGeneres' side table. "Oh! F--k off," he said after letting out a scream. The Imitation Game star proceeded to cover his face with his hands and poke fun at...

Stan Lee is rebutting claims — made recently in a document allegedly signed by him — that his daughter Joan Celia “J.C.” Lee and friend Keya Morgan are trying to “gain control over [his] assets, property and money.”
The 95-year-old comic book legend filmed two videos standing by the pair for The Hollywood Reporter, saying that “my relationship with my daughter has never been better and my friend, Keya Morgan and I, also have a great relationship.”
His denial comes as a Feb. 13 document purportedly signed by Lee claimed that Morgan was one of three men with “bad intentions” trying to influence the 68-year-old J.
