In several quick scenes of Tehran city,there is a very tall tower that believe must be Tehran International Tower which has been built within 2003-2007, long after revolution.

In a part of the movie, movie posters are shown that men take from the wall. These types of posters were definitely collected long before the time of the movie story. After the revolution, some films were made without women wearing the full hijab, but not with the low amount of coverage seen in the posters.

Throughout the movie, actors are shown saying "yalla" as a Persian for come on. However, yalla is an Egyptian Arabic for come on, let's go or let's do it which has also got popularity in Israel as a loan word.

Since the movie was filmed in Bulgaria, when Farnaz goes to the railway, the logo of Bulgaria railway is clearly visible on the train that passes in front of Farnaz.

The architecture of the city where the movie was filmed is more similar to some northern cities of Iran than Tehran, and most of its streets are covered with stone, while in Tehran at that time, some few streets were covered with stone, and most of the streets especially in the center and south of the city were asphalt.

When Isaac is put against a concrete wall to be shot (but purposely missed just to scare him), the bullet holes in the wall around him are clearly made by explosive squibs inside the wall, not by bullets hitting it from the outside.

The license plates of none of the cars shown in the movie match the shape of the license plates used in Iran in the time of the movie's story.
