Die Antwoord begs the question... WTAF?!

The first time I viewed this music video I was floored. The music is infectious, the beat delicious and the visuals rapacious. It will change how you look at music videos, no doubt. It is subversive, as you may recognize a certain someone, who supposedly initially rejected their offer to tour with her, until she saw that they might be the next Big Thing... let's just say that they get even with her for that faux pas. Watch this creation with the volume turned to 11 and the shades drawn... because I guarantee that you will be shaking your tail feathers. Enjoy!

Poor South Africans

Warning: Spoilers
"Die Antwoord: Fatty Boom Boom" is the 6-minute music video by the band in the title for the song with the name in the title. The film starts off as a fake documentary on what South Africa is like as a taxi driver keeps rambling about all kinds of stuff. Then, around the 60-second mark or slightly later, the music and singing is added. The band looked like cheap versions of Lady Gaga at times and 'sounded like an even cheaper version of what Eminem has done over a decade ago. And then there is a pretty obscene disgusting moment towards the end that involved female genitalia and fluids and more that I really don't want to go into detail about. Many artists have shown that if you have not enough talent or substance to your art and creativity, then you need to shock audiences in order to still make an impact. This 2012 music video is a perfect example for that. The song is really bad, the visual side is unappealing, almost offensive and if I was South African, I'd feel really disgusted by these "artists" representing out country with their lack of talent and huge amount of bad taste.
