The film is pretty enjoyable. It's mindless horror fun with the mystery of lurking inbreds long since removed by familiarity with the franchise formula, and hardly a classic by any stretch, but if the goal is to zone out on some horror for a little while and have your attention kept focused on something other than the outside world, Wrong Turn 6 fits the bill. This has been a fun franchise that doesn't try to be what it isn't – It is horror fun with lots of gore and crazy inbreds, nothing more. Wrong Turn 6 actually succeeds is in the storyline. As mentioned earlier the plot line emphasis began to take more of a center stage with Wrong Turn 5, and that concept continues through to this effort. Sure, there are plot holes and big problems, but it is nice to see that if the gore isn't going to be as dramatic as in the past, at least a little effort was made to ramp up the story to help compensate. Not as good a story as Number 5, but definitely better than the story-deficient Number 4.
