Netflix debuted the first teaser trailer for Stranger Things season 2 during the Super Bowl, but now we have our first proper look at the returning cast members in character as our core group of young heroes: Mike, Dustin, Will, Lucas, and Eleven, who is sporting a very distinctive new haircut. The show is set to return this Halloween, and the Duffer Brothers promise to up the ante while being true to what made the first season so memorable. “It’s a balance of the comfort you’re familiar with but then trying to take it in new directions,” says Ross Duffer. “That’s what we’re trying to strike with season 2.” Check out the cover below, and click Here to see some interviews with the cast.

Last night’s episode of “Saturday Night Live” was unsurprisingly Trump-centric — and almost certainly will be for at least the next month — but nestled among the political skits was an almost-as-topical one about “Stranger Things.” In it, the Duffer Brothers promise to address some of season one’s lingering mysteries: whether Barb is returning, where the Upside Down actually is and “where is that black kid’s family?”
