Day Ten (2014)
** (out of 4)
This short obviously had well intentions but the end result isn't all that great. This follows a man's walk through the streets of New York for the ten days following 9/11. His own thoughts are to himself as he walks empty streets and every so often comes in contact with someone else. For the most part I thought this film was well-made but the whatever drama the director was going for just didn't come across. I thought he did a good job showing the silence that was across the city but it just seemed rather fake whenever our lead encountered other people. I don't know, it's just the drama didn't come out to the point where you had a connection with him or the others.
