Prog rock pioneers Yes have sold the rights to their recorded music catalog to Warner Music Group, Variety reports.
The deal covers the rights to Yes’ first 12 studio albums, from their 1969 self-titled debut to 1987’s Big Generator. A smattering of live albums and compilations — from 1972’s Yessongs to 2019’s Yes 50 Live — are also included. No financial terms were disclosed.
Yes broke through in the early Seventies with hits like “Your Move” and “Roundabout,” which appeared on platinum-selling albums like The Yes Album and Fragile. A second, arguably bigger commercial peak...

The Almost Famous soundtrack was pressed on vinyl so few times that the original record is rare — a dream for every collector who just wants to light a candle and see their entire future. Thankfully, Cameron Crowe will expand the soundtrack into a limited-edition box set, out August 20th via UMe.
Stillwater Runs Deep!
The news arrives after the film celebrated its 20th anniversary last year, which included a podcast, cast reunion, and an unearthing of Crowe’s archive. The upcoming box set marks the first-ever release of all the...

We chat to Luke Goss about his directorial debut, Your Move, along with his movie plans, and the influence of Guillermo del Toro...
I bet you’ve seen a Luke Goss film.
If you’re like me and you watch a lot of low budget indie action movies, you may have seen him in movies alongside the likes of Danny Trejo, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rouke, Vinnie Jones and Ving Rhames. And if you haven’t seen him in those, perhaps you’ve seen him in the sequels to Death Race. And those aren’t your bag, you must have seen him in Guillermo del Toro’s Blade II and Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
Goss’ latest film funds him stepping behind the camera to direct (and then back in front of it to also star!). His directorial debut is the slow burn, neo noir Your Move, which...

Former pop star turned actor Luke Goss has had an interesting post-pop career, carving his own path in Hollywood, appearing in a number of action movies since his star-making turn in Blade 2. He has put in some great performances in a bevy of direct-to-market action movies (in particular the two Death Race sequels); and that’s despite any shortcomings said movies may have had! Though to be fair Goss’ schtick: smouldering good looks and a quiet demeanour, hiding a hard man of action hero proportions – goes a Long way in these types of genre films.
However with Your Move, Goss not only appears in front of the camera as the films star, but...

Quiet Earth has received the first trailer for Your Move, Luke Goss' (Hellboy 2, Death Race 2, Blade 2) debut as a writer/director and it's a stylish affair that suggests Goss has a gift when it comes to shooting good looking crime thrillers.
The trailer, set to a paired-down cover of Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun, is devoid of dialogue, but gives enough to know it's something of a revenge tale.
Cinematographer Jorge Roman deserves credit as well for some impressionistic lighting here and camera work.
Synopsis:
A business man must transform himself into a hunter after he helplessly watches his wife and child get kidnapped in Mexico. The lengths to which he must go to rescue his family will stress his physical and mental constitutions to their breaking points. [Continued ...]...

One half of '80s pop phenomenon Bros and one, well, whole of Hellboy II's big bad, Luke Goss once asked: "When will I see my name in all the papers?". Well, it's in Variety today, with news that he will be stepping behind the camera for his first directorial gig.Goss is directing Your Move from a script he also wrote. According to the trade, the story will follow a New York executive whose wife and child are off visiting her family in Mexico. While Skyping them, he witnesses their assault and abduction at the hands of some nefarious types. He launches a rescue-stroke-revenge mission when Mexico's authorities fail to provide much assistance in tracking down the missing pair. Man On Fire meets Taken, then? Sounds a lot like it, and that title suggests at least some Bryan Mills-y dialogue to induce the abducters to release their prize -...
