A Surrealist Artist Beyond Compare
In a televised interview, Salvador Dali once flatly stated - "I'm a very bad painter. I'm too intelligent to be a good painter."
Of course, for one to fully understand what Dali meant by this absurd statement they will need to watch this documentary which chronicles the career of one of the world's most flamboyantly eccentric painters of them all.
At the height of his career, Dali (born 1904) was the most commercially successful artist of his generation. Even today he is cited as being a major influence on many contemporary artists.
All-in-all - This was quite an impressive documentary that highlighted the striking and bizarre images of one of the world's most recognizable surrealistic artists, bar none. In 1989, Salvador Dali, at the age of 84, died from heart failure.
