Dr. Robbins is attending the wake of Ana Ortiz, the daughter of his friend Gabriel. He asks Dr. Robbins to go to Arquero, Mexico, to perform the autopsy of his daughter since the coroner has not released her body to come to Las Vegas and believes she died of OD. However, Ana did not use drugs. Dr. Robbins travels with Nick and has the support of the Mexican Federal Agent Javier Silva. Soon they find that the town is dominated by the Cartel. The coroner Dr. Rafael Blanco does not welcome them and is indeed unhappy to see them in his morgue. Soon they learn that Ana's body was found near four dead bodies from a massacre of the Cartel, and Nick asks Javier to investigate the crime scene. Meanwhile, Sara and Greg investigate the murder of a couple killed with gunshots to their heads and embedded in concrete in the garage of a house. Soon they find that both killings are related and done in Las Vegas.
"De Los Muertos" is an episode of "CSI" with a prejudicial view of Mexico. Maybe the life in Arquero is different but at least in Veracruz, the life seems to be normal. At least after all the investigation they find the crime was committed in Las Vegas. My vote is eight.
