Sex & Nudity

  • Sometimes, body parts get cut which makes you able to see their organs.
  • In the beginning of episode 5, a man gets his chest cut out with a dagger, bloddy internal organs come out.
  • In episode 2, you are able to be kissed.
  • Most of the nudity comes from violence, as there is never any sex scenes.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is stabbed in the leg, a large bloody wound is seen. A doctor then tells him to hold the wound open before he sprinkles maggots in it to combat infection, pretty graphic.
  • Played with a fixed camera perspective that may pan slightly when characters move around, the player progresses through the game by making decisions for various characters such as dialogue options, actions or combat manoeuvres. Some choices will affect the eventual story outcome, and may also result in scenes depicting strong violence and/or gore.
  • Characters use weapons such as axes, crossbows and swords to kill animals, enemy soldiers and zombies.
  • The combat sequences are fast-paced and intense, and require the player to make timely control inputs in response to screen prompts. Failure during combat often leads to characters getting stabbed, impaled or killed.
  • Overall, there are strong elements of violence and gore with depictions of dismemberment, decapitation and impalement. There are also realistic blood effects, such as blood splatter and blood staining the environment, when characters are injured or killed.
  • Strong instances of violence include a scene of a man being flayed & disemboweled, while another scene depicts a man's hand being chopped off with a sword.
  • However, these depictions of realistic violence, in the likes killing, maiming or causing other serious injury to its non-playable characters is, itself, not sadistic, cruel and/or abhorrent.

Profanity

  • The game contains frequent utterances of coarse language such as the expletive 'c*nt', as well as variations of the expletive 'f**k'.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • You can choose to make your troops drunk, you can also see soldiers drink in episode 3.
  • There is a scene where you can decide to drink stolen wine.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A lot of the battle scenes are intense.
  • The story of the game gets progressively dark and frightening the more you continue.
  • There is a scene in episode 3 with Gryff telling you that Talia bit one of his soldiers, this leads to Gryff saying that he'll learn her lesson for this act, Talia will tell you that the soldier was stealing from the kitchen. You'll later on, have a scene with Gryff demanding you to stand down, to make sure you learn obedience. If you stand up 3 times, Gryff will keep attacking you and demanding you to stay down, till he gives up. The scene is really intense and has some intense music.
  • 'Game Of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series' is an adventure game set in fictional medieval lands. The player controls several members of a family engaged in a struggle for survival.
  • Due to 'Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series"s portrayal of strong violence, gore and coarse language, it is recommended for players aged 18 and above.
