Check it out in the embed above!
Fallon directed the film from a screenplay he wrote with Interdonato, who also stars as the film’s nemesis Jesse. Interdonato is joined by Nick Baillie (Taken), Melissa Anschutz (Best Years Gone) and Alix Lane (Black Pumpkin). Danilo Rocha (Sick Minded), and Fallon himself co star.
The story centers on: The McCabe family’s weekend getaway was never meant to be a life-changing experience. Prime Video got off to a fast start this summer with the release of The Boys season 3 on June 3. Now, as we enter the dog days, Prime Video is set to keep the warm weather good times rolling with a new twist on an old classic. That’s right, Amazon’s list of new releases for August 2022 is highlighted by some good old-fashioned baseball.
A League of Their Own, the TV adaptation of Penny Marshall’s 1992 movie, is set to premiere on Aug. 12. Like the movie before it, the series will dramatize the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League which saw women playing America’s pastime while the major leagues were on pause for World War II. Abbi Jacobson (Broad City) co-created the show and will star as catcher Carson Shaw.
Other Prime Video Originals of note this month include season 2 of British comedy The Outlaws on and the Ron Howard-directed Thirteen Lives,...

Prime Video will continue rolling out its summer slate in the month of August, releasing new original series, as well as a mix of suspenseful films, action movies and more.
Amazon’s series version of “A League of Their Own” will debut its eight-episode first season on Aug. 12, introducing new characters and stories set in the historical opening of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League (Aagpbl).
Ron Howard’s “Thirteen Lives” tells the real-life story of how a young boys’ soccer team was rescued from the Thai mountain cave where they got stuck for 10 days along with their coach.
Other new film arrivals include hits from earlier this summer, “The Lost City” starring Sandra Bullock, Daniel Radcliffe, Channing Tatum and Brad Pitt, as well as “Sonic the Hedgehog 2.” Academy Award-nominated film “Licorice Pizza” also arrives on Prime Video this month.
Freevee will also have new arrivals this month.

This Star Trek: Discovery article contains spoilers for Season 4, Episode 5.
Following in the footsteps of Season 3, the first batch of episodes in Star Trek: Discovery Season 4 do two things: The overall story of the season-long arc is explored, but, the episode itself presents a standalone story in the classic Star Trek tradition. Last week, Tilly got her “Galileo Seven” moment, but this week, in “The Examples,” Disco tackles a classic Trek ethical dilemma.
As Burnham and Book navigate the morality of saving prisoners on a doomed colony, “The Examples” front-loads the episode with a ton of callbacks and Easter eggs to the rest of the franchise. Here’s every Easter egg and big reference we spotted in Star Trek: Discovery Season 4, Episode 5…
USS Janeway
Right away, the episode hits us with a few starship names that sound familiar. The first is the USS Janeway, an obvious reference to Captain Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager,...

Amanda Clayton, who plays the role of Cathy Ryan on Showtime’s City on a Hill, has signed with Apa in all areas.
Renewed for a second season, the American crime drama series is created by Charlie McLean, based on an original idea by Ben Affleck and MacLean, and set in 1990s Boston. The city is rife with violent crimes, all emboldened by local law enforcement agencies, where corruption and racism are the norm.
Clayton’s feature credits include the Martin Scorsese-produced biographical drama Bleed For This opposite Miles Teller, Katey Sagal and Aaron Eckhart. That story followed the inspirational world champion boxer Vinny Pazienza. She also appeared in Disney’s John Carter opposite Taylor Kitsch, and the indie thriller Bad Frank.
Clayton is also set to make her directorial debut next summer for the feature film Brusco. She continues to be represented by Eric Kind at Brave Management.

Towards the tail end of 2016 I was trawling my Twitter feed for something new and interesting, when I stumbled across what looked like a really intriguing low-budget indie movie that was a cut above a lot of what you find out there. I contacted the director, Anthony, and we kinda hit it off. He sent me a copy of the film, Bad Frank, and asked if I would like to do a review, which I did (Bad Frank review).
I kept in touch with Tony as he hit the festival trail and was always happy to hear how well it was doing. So as you can imagine when I found it was getting a much bigger release in order to have a much bigger audience… Well, I am really happy for Tony and his crew; and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to interview him as Bad Frank prepares to hit VOD next month.

I love it when a movie can come completely out of nowhere and surprise this humble reviewer. Bad Frank is exactly that, a movie that on paper looks and sounds like most other kidnap/revenge thrillers you may have seen over the years. But let me tell you that Bad Frank is Far from some of the copy and paste garbage out there.
I was instantly drawn to this flick after stumbling upon its Twitter page and hey full disclosure I saw Tom Sizemore and Brian O’Halloran and thought ‘Okay, Im in’. Little did I know that I was about to watch a somewhat by the numbers movie that takes all of the numbers and turns them on there head with a great,...
