"Synthesizers" is a 5-minute live action short film from 2013. And in this one, Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey reprises his role from the film "Dazed and Confused" and plays a grown-up version of his character. The whole thing is a music video (spoof). It has lots of tongue-in-cheek humor from start to finish, especially with the way it ends. I must say I am not a great fan of "Dazed & Confused" and I barely remember McConaughey in there, but I still had a pretty good time watching this short film. Also thumbs up to the actor that, after such a long time, he agreed to join this project and play the character again. More people should do stuff like that and we would be getting a whole lot of fun short movies about memorable characters. I recommend the watch here and, like I already said, you do not have to be a fan of the original film at all in order to appreciate this one. Thumbs up.
