About half way through, the team collect Ames' two wheely bins to check his rubbish. They place temporary replacement bins in front of those they are taking before taking them, not bothering to put the replacements in the same position as those removed. The strip of grass between the bins and the kerb is thus narrowed considerably, leaving less than a bin depth between them and the kerb. On returning the original bins, the replacements have mysteriously moved into the positions occupied by the originals, leaving plenty room to put the originals in front of the replacements.
