- Hong Kong
Calder, Annie and Auggie head to the safe house, knowing that they're on an unsanctioned mission on Chinese soil. They plan to follow the diamond courier to Henry.
In DC, Joan comes home to Arthur and tells that him Annie is alive.
In Hong Kong, Annie and Calder stake out a passageway, looking for the courier. Annie sees the tall bald white man with the briefcase and follows him down the escalator, relaying his motions to Calder and Auggie. They wait for the courier to make the handoff.
Annie realizes she lost him. The courier makes a handoff to a Chinese man in a suit, but neither Annie nor Calder has eyes on him. Annie finds him again, without the case. Auggie tells her to grab him because he's their only link to Henry.
The courier sees Calder and Annie closing in on him and runs -- right into oncoming traffic.
Not wanting to lose their only lead, Annie goes directly to the police and offers herself as a witness.
Back at the safe house, Calder is angry about Annie's impulsive solo move, but Auggie says he can't hack into the security cameras so using the police is their only lead.
At the Campbell house, Arthur's lawyer Bianca brings him a plea deal he didn't ask for and wasn't expecting. He has to plead guilty, but not to murder or treason. Bianca tries to urge him to take it so he'll be out in eight or ten years. She explains the government has an airtight case against him, with financial records of him funding Teo's terrorism. She mentions Arthur using Auggie to set up a bank account for him.
Back in the Hong Kong police station, Annie reviews the security footage with a detective and waits to see the courier make a hand-off. She IDs the man he passes the case to as the one he was supposedly arguing with. When the detective leaves the room, Annie takes a photo of the surveillance footage showing the man. She sends it to Auggie, who sends it to Joan. She quickly IDs the man who took the hand-off as Oliver Lee, MSS, fourth in command of the third bureau.
Annie realizes she's locked in at the station, right as Joan and Auggie are realizing that when the police realize she's ID'd an MSS (Chinese secret service) agent, they'll never let her go.
Auggie texts Annie to get out now.
Annie doesn't have time to pick the lock before Oliver Lee himself arrives. Annie shows him the photo she has of him with the courier. She whispers to him that she'll trade him all the diamonds for Henry.
Calder and Auggie wait anxiously outside the police station. Annie arrives, with Oliver.
They head back to the safe house. Oliver Lee can't believe they don't have a bigger team to take on Henry. He doesn't like their chances.
Annie takes Calder aside, saying they need Oliver to trust them. Calder thinks the $200 million should be incentive, but Annie points out they're not seeing the diamonds whether Oliver helps them or not. Annie has Oliver call Henry to set up a meet.
Back in DC, Arthur has news for Joan when she gets home. He never told Bianca about Auggie setting up the bank account, and it's nowhere in the testimony. The only way Bianca could have known is if Henry told her. Arthur thinks Bianca could be their smoking gun.
Back in Hong Kong, Oliver tells Annie the only way to win at being a spy is to quit the game.
Annie and Auggie leave the safe house to get dinner, knowing they have a lot to talk about. Annie thinks everything will be over in eight hours. "Either we get Henry, or we die trying," she says. Auggie assures her they'll get him.
Eight hours later, they prepare Oliver for the meet with Henry.
Henry waits to meet with Oliver, but gets a call from Eric Braithwaite back at Langley. He tells him about Auggie and Calder flying to Hong Kong.
Oliver gets on the tram with Henry as planned, as Auggie and Calder wait at the stop where they're supposed to get off, but Henry refuses to budge.
Calder and Auggie get back in their van and race to the next stop to try to grab Henry there.
At the summit, Oliver and Henry get off in the busy mall, as Annie follows them. They leave the mall and head up a pathway. Auggie waits in the van at the top. Henry walks slowly, sharing his disappointment with Oliver, and then accusing him of luring him into a trap. Oliver looks around and sees Henry has several goons closing in on them.
Annie sees one of them heading for Auggie in the van and tells him when to open his door to knock the man over. A gunshot rings out and Auggie gets out of the van to try to fend off his armed attacker.
Everyone goes crazy on the steps and Calder starts shooting at Henry's goons. Oliver runs off as Annie runs to help Auggie.
Calder follows Oliver and stops him. Auggie fends off the man, but the man runs when Henry and his goons reach their car. They all pile in and drive off as Annie runs up helplessly.
Annie, Auggie, and Calder regroup. Calder wants to take Oliver back to testify against Henry, but Oliver doesn't think MSS will let them leave the country alive. Annie doesn't want to leave without Henry, but Auggie and Calder impress upon her that they don't have much time to get out if they're going to.
Back in the States, Arthur goes to see Bianca at her horse stables. He immediately asks her how much Henry paid her to tank his case. She says Henry contacted her a week after Arthur returned from Germany. Arthur is asking for more information when he sees a man walk into the stables with a gun. Arthur tries to throw Bianca to safety in a horse stall, but she's hit. Arthur slams the stable door open on the gunman and disarms him, then knocks him over and starts grappling with him.
They're rolling around on the floor when the man takes out a knife and stabs Arthur several times in the side. Arthur gets away in time to get to the man's gun. He grabs it then rolls over and shoots as the man comes at him.
Arthur is badly hurt, but pulls out his phone. He leaves Joan a frantic message to get out of the house now, they're coming. But she doesn't hear her phone.
A man with a gun and silencer lets himself in to the Campbell's house. He goes to the kitchen where Joan has left the water running, but Joan isn't there. She walks up behind the man and shoots him from across her dining room table. The man slumps to the floor, dead, as the pregnant lady holds her gun in one hand and cell phone with Arthur's voice mail in the other.
Annie, Auggie, Calder, and Oliver drive to the airport at night. Annie checks in with Joan, who tells them Henry put a hit out on both of them and Arthur is in surgery. Calder realizes they're being followed.
Auggie holds Annie out the window and she shoots at the car following them, disabling it. When Oliver asks for a cigarette, they realize they also have his phone, which must be how Henry's men are tracking them.
Annie insists she take the phone to lead Henry's men off their trail while Auggie and Calder head to the airport. They drop her off in a bustling city street with plans to meet up on the tarmac.
Back in DC, Arthur is out of surgery and doing well.
Annie walks among the lit street stalls. She leaves the phone on a trash can then thinks twice and goes back for it. She calls Auggie, he's still on the tarmac. Oliver and Calder just took off on the jet, but he stayed behind to help her.
Annie tells him she has a different plan now, and he tells her he's with her. She sees Henry's goons by his SUV and says good-bye to Auggie.
She walks right up to the goons and gives them Oliver's phone. Henry walks over and finally gets a look at her, shock washing over his face at seeing she's alive. "Hello, Ms. Walker," he says.
