Niche gardening show airing on various PBS stations and times in central Texas though some of the production work is a little lacking.

Over time I've learned about various plants and trees and how or where they grow best and about various Texas artisans including a custom metal worker in the episode referenced below.

In a recent episode (S27 E6) the music was a little too loud although it was mildly preferable to hearing some flaky woman drone on about how she, as a self taught herbalist, etc, "cured" herself of a lifelong "incurable", 'untreatable' inflammatory disease by creating & using her own tinctures and pickled herbs, etc from her own garden. Her entire monologue read like a self aggrandizing commercial for her nicely displayed, labelled jars of her products. She goes so far as to take a jar from the shelf, open it, then insert a dropper to withdraw some & drop a single drop on her tongue while proclaiming it delicious and strong & delicious

A woman's voiceover asks "So, what are those..." and the guest (advertiser) goes on to describe how she gets plants, etc and other materials and creates her concoctions all while the insipid neverending music plays. Her descriptions and techniques are reasonably sound however the whole thing plays as a student produced commercial.
