Last month, Saban Films announced that they will be releasing the thriller In the Fire, starring Aquaman‘s Amber Heard, on Friday, October 13th – and the movie will be receiving theatrical, digital, and VOD releases all on the same date. With that date now just a few weeks away, a trailer for In the Fire has now arrived online, and you can check it out in the embed above.
Directed by Conor Allyn, who also wrote the screenplay with Pascal Borno and Silvio Muraglia, In the Fire has the following synopsis: A doctor from New York travels to a remote plantation in the 1890s to care for a disturbed boy who seems to have inexplicable abilities. She begins treating the child, but in doing so ignites a war of science versus religion with the local priest who believes the boy is possessed by the Devil and is the reason for all the village’s woes.

This article contains spoilers for "Yellowjackets" and discusses potentially triggering content.
"Qui," the intense sixth episode of "Yellowjackets" season 2, finally solves the mystery of Shauna's baby. Samantha Hanratty, who plays the teen version of Misty, told Uproxx that she wanted the harrowing birth scene "to come across as authentic as possible. Misty knows a lot, but I also didn't want it to be where she knows too, too much."
Although Misty has vital first-aid skills, she is understandably shaken when she has to help Shauna give birth — especially after dealing with the death of her best friend. But in real life, Hanratty has a lot of interest in labor and delivery:
"I'm the auntie of seven nieces and nephews, I can't wait to be a mom myself. Hopefully, by next year I will be starting my own family. So I'm very familiar with that whole process. [...] I could see...

On Aug. 16, one of cinema's best babysitting adventures, Uncle Buck, will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The John Hughes comedy tells the story of the Russell family; mom and dad need someone to look after their three kids Asap. Short on options, Uncle Buck – a sloppy and crass city dweller – is recruited at the last minute. Expertly played by the late John Candy, Buck tackles giant pancakes, power drills and a game of endless questions with Macaulay Culkin, proving crazy uncles have some serious skills.
A quarter of a century later, Uncle Buck still brings the laughs and warm, fuzzy feelings.
