In Season Three, the private detective finally unravels the mystery of the secret painting, "The Painter on the Road to Tarascon" by Vincent van Gogh. Venturing to Tarascon, in the South of France, he hopes to recover the elusive artwork. However, upon arrival, he discovers that the painting does not exist, leaving him disheartened. Yet, in a strange twist, he dreams of being on the very road depicted in the painting. As he gazes around, he spots a figure resembling the painter himself, Vincent van Gogh, walking through the scene with the painting. The detective is stunned by the uncanny resemblance. A brief exchange of dialogue occurs between them before the detective abruptly awakens from his dream, leaving the encounter shrouded in mystery.
