This was Madonna's biggest show ever, with over 1.6 million people in attendance, over 10 times the 130,000-person crowd she performed to at Paris' Parc des Sceaux in 1987. It was free of charge as a thank you to her Brazilian fans.
Madonna's fourth tour to come to Brazil, after The Girlie Show (1993), Sticky & Sweet (2008) and MDNA (2012). It marks her first show in the country since 2012.
The only concert from the Celebration Tour performed in South America. It was the last of 81 shows.
Officially announced on March 25, 2024. The event was planned at least a year in advance and was supposed to happen right after the Brazilian Carnival in February 2024, but was postponed after Madonna's hospitalization in 2023.
This set the record for largest audience ever stand-alone concert for any artist in history, with over 1.6 million people attending. According to newspaper El País, other media outlets estimated an attendance of 2,5 million people.
