Disappointed

The main point of this episode is helping a Viet Nam Vet yet he gets no credit. Great episode but the main focus is anonymous. I'm very disappointed.

This episode teaches us a great lesson that we don't just throw our soldiers away when they return from a theater. We have a big problem of dismissing our soldiers when they return because we didn't go through the things they did. All of the modern wars are watched through the lens of media companies. They sterilize the story to fit into a time slot and never show the real parts of war. They think we can't handle the truth. This is how media conditions us.

Vic Hughes deserves the world
jameswyattranks10 May 2024
The episode was crafted in a very clever way, with great use of flashbacks to cover an important topic, draw certain connections with several characters and to finally address something that needed to be addressed with Vic's character. Barrett's performance was absolutely incredible.

Seeing a common theme come together by establishing a character they all cared deeply about, despite not knowing them prior to this episode was very clever. They didn't rush over it and it allowed you to feel the kind of emotion as if it were someone you knew for a long time. Seeing each of the teams emotions at that height, as well as highlighting their neglect for Hughes over a long period was done so well. We know her to be the one who is high-energy and looks out for everybody but through this season especially we see her nearing her breaking point. She has lost so much.

a very hard but beautiful episode!

Boris Kodjoe did a good job despite the difficulty of the episode. Bravo to him.

Barrett Doss showed us once again what she was capable of. Her character Vic is one of the best in the series and it's not for nothing. She's funny, sensitive, always there for everyone and that's why sometimes we have to break down.

I can't believe there are only 4 episodes left of this wonderful show. Someone save her. #savestation19.

And I really like flashbacks! And the Maya and Carina scenes where we realize that the difficulties of having a baby also contributed to Maya's burnout.

The scene of the funeral was very beautiful but a real heartbreaker.

I feel confused

Warning: Spoilers
I don't really know how I feel after this episode.

First of all, abc promoted this episode with a marina scene/picture. Yet when it aired they cut a very important part of it, so why use it as promo but not air it during the episode? (Yes I'm talking about the kiss~ it's not just because I would love to see more marina live, it's about the representation, they are an openly wlw couple so why censor/cut their little intimate moment?, it's just a small thing but brings so much representation and so much value to us~sorry for this little rant)

During the epsiode, they have many flashbacks. They get a bit confusing because it's hard to place those throwbacks when you can't figure out when that happend

Overal I liked the stories and the dialogues that happend in the episodes.

This episode was directed by boris kodjoe, who plays Sullivan in the show.

I love that so many actors dabble in other aspects/jobs in the filming world (on their own show)

I can't believe that this show is leaving us. 😢

#SaveStation19.

Another emotional one

Warning: Spoilers
Great episode talking about mental health I loved all the Vic focused stuff Boris did a great job directing the episode. I love that crisis one and Vic's job is saved now we just need to #savestation19 they truly deserve more seasons. Again Barrett's acting is Amazing. Maya now being the hormonal one and the Ben secret isn't at all what we expected. There has to be more going on with Ben's health is his cancer back or what is going on with his back.i like that Sullivan is trying to help out the community with the homeless. Hopefully we get some spicy marina scenes next week it hasn't been to hot yet.

Moving Backwards to Come Forward
Rogue_mms4 May 2024
This episode showed through the friendship of a homeless vet the fruition of Vic Hughes breakdown. We had to go backwards to see the journey of a vet and how our beloved NINETEEN family came together to be his friend. The connection Vic built with him through their conversations shows how vets are suffering from mental health issues. How all it takes is a little kindness to be shared.

Enjoyed watching the timeline which took us back to the in between moments. Loved seeing the secret relationship between Ross and Sully again. Absolutely 100% LOVED seeing Maya and Carina's baby no baby unfold in such a graceful way. The look those two give each other is priceless. My heart.

Now moving forward to Vic having her breakdown. How epic was that to see her progression to better understand why she has been feeling so broken. Then to have the support of her friend. Wow!

Boris Kodjoe Delivers Heartfelt Direction in Powerful #Station19 Episode
lshindle4 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Bravo to #Station19 for another riveting episode! Boris Kodjoe direction captivates, immersing us in the emotional depths of each character's journey. Barrett Doss delivers a tour de force performance, her portrayal of Vic touching hearts and resonating deeply. Amidst Vic's professional and personal turmoil, the flashback sequences add layers of complexity, highlighting the profound impact of Crisis One. A standout moment for me was the powerhouse duo of Barrett & Jay Hayden. Their chemistry as scene partners on #Station19 is undeniable! From witty exchanges to heartfelt moments, their scenes together are unforgettable. Their bond feels like the epitome of true friendship, where they support and challenge each other in equal measure. Their partnership is an absolute treasure, and it's clear they bring out the best in each other. The decision to cut Maya and Carina's scene feels like a missed opportunity yet again. This is the second time they heavily promoted a kiss between the two & cut it. There are only 4 more episodes cutting a kiss between Maya and Carina after heavy promotion feels like a gut punch for representation. It sends a disheartening message to LGBTQIA+ viewers that their stories and relationships are not valued or respected. Representation matters, and cutting it undermines the progress towards inclusivity on television. Ben's secret fell flat for me. Boris's direction in this episode is simply awe-inspiring, infusing each moment with palpable emotion and depth. His skill behind the camera shines brightly, reminding us why #SaveStation19 is more than just a show-it's a beacon of excellence.
