Rm of BTS has announced a second full-length solo effort, titled Right Place, Wrong Person. The album will arrive on May 24th.
The follow-up to 2022’s Indigo is set to focus on “moments of feeling like a stranger, out of place” and will contain 11 tracks, all of which bear lyrical contributions from the BTS leader, songwriter, and rapper.
Rm wrote and recorded the project prior to beginning his compulsory period in the South Korean military — while his bandmate Jin is set to finish his enlistment in June of 2024, Rm won’t complete his time until June 2025. Until then, this project “marks his return after one year and five months” and “reveals an added layer of his unique artistic depth.” Recently, BTS member j-hope unveiled a docuseries and accompanying mixtape titled Hope on the Street, which had also been recorded prior to enlisting.

Unsurprisingly, Beyonce‘s new album “Cowboy Carter” debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200 albums chart. But it was impressive even by her own standards. It launched with 407,000 equivalent album units based on its combined record sales, individual track sales and online streams. Read more about this week’s chart here at Billboard.com.
This is the eighth number-one album for Beyonce following “Dangerously in Love” (2003), “B’Day” (2006), “I Am … Sasha Fierce” (2008), “4” (2011), “Beyonce” (2013), “Lemonade” (2016) and “Renaissance” (2022). She ranks fourth among women for the most chart-toppers ever. This was also the best streaming week of her career with 232,000 units coming from on-demand online listens (which comes out to 300.41 million streams), no doubt helped by the fact that this was Beyonce’s longest album with 27 tracks.

That dropped Future and Metro Boomin‘s “We Don’t Trust You” to number-two with a still-impressive 131,000 units.

Two members of BTS have joined forces on a new song, “I Wonder.” The track is officially J-Hope’s and finds the rapper teaming up with Jungkook. The track appears on his Hope on the Street Vol. 1 album, which released on Friday.
The tune features a funky, Eighties R&b-influenced backing track, built with Stratocaster-like bluesy guitar licks and thick synths, as the artists sing about all the things they wonder. Throughout the tune, they sing about love, trust, and togetherness, all with a little Autotune. “I wonder, wonder, wonder where we go,...
