- Two years after the events of "The Christmas Ride," Georgia takes the opportunity to make some extra cash on New Year's Eve. Knowing people will be drinking and need rides, she takes pride in her good deed while paying off some debts. At the beginning of the day, Georgia chats with her Dad, new stepmother, and roommates about what's going on for the day. After taking a break following morning food deliveries, Georgia takes on a slew of quirky passengers with various personalities. Among the riders is her ex-boyfriend, Eddie, who makes a conscious choice to continue with the ride knowing she had no idea it was him. Eddie and Georgia have an awkward exchange while catching up and Eddie leaves the ride wondering if this was a sign of them to get back together. Georgia takes a break when the sun goes down and people start to elevate their alcohol intake.
After dressing up at the request of Zoey and Becca, Georgia gets a call from Eddie to meet at the Tampa Riverwalk. A heart to heart talk leaves Georgia turning down his request to spend the rest of the evening with him. Georgia runs into a very drunk girl, Thea, and takes the opportunity to make sure she gets home okay. The remaining moments leading to midnight, Georgia seeks peace at home. Zoey and Becca return from a night of fun to ring in the new year with their best friend.
