Maddi Jane gave a unique and really enjoyable performance here. I support much more originality with this show and getting artists that bring a different vibe. Yes, this is The Voice, and the vocals should matter, but you can include dance and rap and maybe even EDM like some competitors on other versions around the world have done.
"What I Got" by Sublime making the playlist is not something I expected, but that is a welcome addition. We could use more rock and alternative songs to lure in a new group of fans, but I expect occurences like this to be very rare and not the norm ever from The Voice.
