Kara has been singing since she was a kid and pursuing music professionally since her early 20s. She started a short-lived girl band after high school, which included a record deal. Kara had a short stint where she drove for Uber and would always serenade her passengers. She even had the opportunity to participate in an Uber campaign. She showed up on set and was put in a car, told to sing an original song and before she knew it, Julia Michaels was riding as her passenger. The campaign turned out to be a national commercial, and Kara's original song was showcased for the world to hear. Now, Kara works the night shift as a caregiver for the elderly as well as individuals with developmental disabilities. During the day, Kara works on her music and songwriting, posts covers to her YouTube channel and, when she's not working, loves to gig at local bars and restaurants. Kara even dropped her first EP last summer, which garnered positive publicity and the opportunity to perform at venues in the U.K.
