Renata Stein had trouble in the scene where Kassandra cries. She was ready to weep without exterior help, but she lost her concentration during a change of camera angle and could not cry anymore. She finally shed a tear after she and director Ulisses Da Motta stared each other in silence for several minutes. During this time, the entire film crew remained respectfully still and quiet.
Director Ulisses Da Motta claimed that he dreamt with the movie in a winter night, just after he read H.P. Lovecraft's "At the Mountains of Madness".
Actress Renata Stein was 19 years old when was invited for the role of Kassandra, and the movie was shot a few days after she had completed 20.
In the early stages of editing, the movie reached 30 minutes-long without the credits, which is considered too extensive for Brazilian short films. That version had a sub-plot about tarot cards mysteriously appearing in Kassandra's home. Editor Alfredo Barros insisted with director Ulisses Da Motta that the tarot could confuse the audience because it was too symbolical. Finally, the editor convinced the director and the entire sub-plot was scrapped from final film, which got down to 21 minutes-long without credits.
Cinematographer Pablo Chasseraux has used a light system that save time during the filming. It consisted of LED lights fixed on the corners of the apartment used as scenery, connected to dimmers that would increase or diminish the light in the set. Thanks to that, the camera positions were changed very rapidly.
