There’s trouble in Alaska.
“Mining for Ruby” is an indie drama that follows a Jack as a widower who is dealing with continued depression and falls in love for Ruby, a passionate environmental hydrology grad student who is embroiled in a poisonous waste controversy.
The film stars Billy Zane, Mischa Barton, Jonathan Bennett, Daniel Ponickly and Antoinette Kalaj. It is directed by Zoe Quist.
In this scene, Andrew (Bennett) turns the casual meeting with Ruby (Kalaj) into a threat as her friend Mary (Carrie Baker) looks on helplessly.
