- Caleb and Toby team up to investigate "A" and what happened the night of the lodge fire; Ezra struggles with how he fits into Aria's life; Hanna tries to act normal.
- Open with Spencer, Emily and Aria helping with things at Hanna's house. Emily complains about her physical therapy not working. Hanna isn't eating. Upstairs on the phone, Hanna tells Caleb not to do anything stupid. We see that Toby is with Caleb and the two has a detailed investigation of A and the Wilden murder on a wall. They are clearly working on something significant.
Pam tells Emily about a new type of therapy that might help her shoulder. It would be one injection per week for a few weeks and could eliminate the need for surgery. It isn't cheap.
Connor is still driving his vandalized car to school. Aria and Mike talk about Connor and she mentions that she wasn't there for the open mic. He emphasizes to her that he had nothing to do with it.
Hanna visits her mother in jail. They talk about her arraignment and Hanna tries to cheer her up.
Caleb and Toby search online for a partial tail number Toby got from Spencer. They think it will help them find Redcoat. Toby gets a hit that provides them the name of a flight center.
Emily hasn't seen Shauna since the open mic night. Ezra asks Hanna how she's holding up with everything that's happening with her mother.
Hackett tells Aria her brother is being linked to the vandalism of Connor's car. He asks her how Mike is doing in general.
While visiting her mother at work Emily spots the key to Wilden's apartment. When her mother leaves for a second she appears to consider stealing it from a locked box.
Byron has been contacted by the school with word that Connor's father is trying to have Mike expelled. She tells him about the incident with Connor. Byron leaves to speak with Mike.
Spencer tells Hanna she overheard her parents talking about Ashley's case. It sounds like there is a good chance she good do a significant amount of time: 20 years for manslaughter or much worse for first-degree murder.
At the flight center the guys use a bribe to get more information about the plane from a guy named Nigel Wright, but don't learn much. As soon as they leave Wright makes a call.
Emily shows Spencer and Aria that she grabbed the key to Wilden's apartment. Moments after the three of them arrive the phone rings. It also seems that someone is watching them through a window.
Toby tells Caleb he thinks the flight center employee seemed fishy. He shows Caleb the "NW" lighter he found at the lodge the day of the fire. They wonder if it might belong to Wright.
The girls notice that Wilden's apartment seems pretty bare. The find an unopened box under the kitchen table. It's a gift of steak and the note inside is from A, referencing their "little BBQ."
Ezra finds Aria waiting outside Hackett's office. She fills him in on what's happening with Mike. Byron walks by and Ezra offers his help.
Emily goes to see Pam at work and overhears officers talking about the fact her mother is in trouble for losing Wilden's key.
Toby and Caleb confront Wright with the lighter. He says he was paid to fake a flight plan by CeCe Drake. Wright runs off but Caleb grabs his cell phone.
Ezra goes to Hackett on Mike's behalf. He's able to point out that him going to Aria about Mike's mental health history may have been a mistake.
Caleb, Toby and Spencer go through Wright's cell information. They talk about CeCe being A and Toby wonders if perhaps she was the blonde girl who met with his mother at Radley.
Mike tells Aria that Ezra's intervention got him out of any trouble with Hackett.
Pam confronts Emily about rescheduling her shoulder treatment. She tells her daughter she's been suspended from work. Pam leaves the room and Emily gets an IM from A: "You crashed Wilden's. Now I'll make it all come crashing down."
Aria waits for Ezra outside his place and thanks him for helping. They have a "moment."
Hanna tells Ashley she thinks her mother should plead guilty and claim self-defense as a way to avoid first-degree murder. She says she won't admit to a murder she didn't commit.
Wright talks to someone off-screen about losing his phone. He calls her "babe."
Emily wakes up in the middle of the night. She grabs the key and walks to the top of the stairs where she hears her mother talking to her father about her situation at work. Someone drives a car right through their living room, knocking Pam to the ground.
