Max Steel uses superhuman strength to pull a tanker towards shore, yet the sand he stands on, at least initially, does not shift. Pulling the ship's anchor chain should have pulled him into the water instead.
Max must always wear his Steel bodysuit to keep himself from exploding in TURBO energy and from being tracked by Miles Dredd and Jason Naught. The suit covers all but his head all of the time but can camouflage into various outfits so Max can appear normally dressed. When Max agrees to join Kirby and Sydney at the beach, no alarms are raised (i.e., Steel doesn't object) as to how he'll appear on the beach, raising the unanswered question of the Steel Suit's ability to have Max appear only in swim trunks, bare-armed, bare-legged and bare-chested.
It is (so far) unexplained how Max handles the permanent wear of his Steel Suit. How does the suit handle the needed functions of urination, excrement and showering off body oils? The matter is never addressed but must somehow be handled, otherwise Max would smell pretty bad (especially after his many vigorous physical efforts against foes). Additionally, he'll never need to buy clothes again, and can never button shirts, tie shoelaces, or zip his fly. He would also require exemption from gym class to avoid his inability to undress. Since arms and shoulders are permanently covered, inoculations would have to be delivered in the neck. It's quite a profound departure from normal that never comes up.
