Brilliant direction

What a thought provoking topic.

Priyanka Tanwar has chosen topics boldly and shares her remarkable hold over psychology of subjects and empathetic storytelling once again. Which Indian filmaker has addressed a single mom and teen woes? How is that for a double delight. The script has been edited in top notch fashion. The cast is incredible and bring their best to the table. Totally worth a theatre watch. Enjoy with your family or just by yourself. Language is no barrier here. Being a new mom, totally can picture the future in this beautiful rendition of a mother daughter heartwarming film. Must watch truly.

Great comeback by Sonali Khare. Sanayaah is so brilliant as a debut actor. She definitely is the star of the movie. If you had to just go to watch her- it's so worth ig. The relationship between the mother and teenage daughter is so beautifully portrayed. Being real life mother-daughter probably helps the chemistry.

Great direction by Priyanka Tanwar- to tackle so many issues so effortlessly- absolute delight. You'll definitely leave the theatre humming to 'Astana Tu'...catchy lyrics and great music. It isn't often that non-Marathi viewers really do get to enjoy a good Marathi film. This one is for one and all!

Warning: Spoilers
Overall quite a simple premise, I got teary at the food truck scene.

I had recently seen Are You There God? It's Me Margaret & The Bear; In comparison this definitely lacked the nuance of the mother's and the daughter's personal life.

But I get it, there's only so much you can stretch a budget.

The men in this movie were quintessential examples of men written by women (This was also enhanced/worsened by the subpar dubbing for the important male characters. Important to the story I mean - Vaibhav & Myra's school friend)

Priyanka I know you'll be reading this - And I say this as a friend I need to see better dialogues for male characters (literal dialogues as well as Post treatment)in your future projects.

TLDR: Good watch.
