Another classic Halloween in June episode
Another hilarious, well-paced Smiling Friends Adventure. So far my biggest problem with this show as a whole has been its 11 minute run time, which is not enough time in this unique world.
The episode itself peaks early, the wedding scene setting a high bar for the rest of the episode which it unfortunately doesn't meet up to. However, that's not to say the rest of the episode is mediocre, it's still great comedy and great animation wrapped up in a underwhelming narrative. Highlights like The Vampire Hunter being played by The Nostalgia Critic is paired with the rushed, somewhat disappointing conclusion. I know this review seems negative but there is a 9:10 ratio of stuff I liked to stuff I disliked (even the aspects I "disliked" is elements I found subpar for a show of this quality). I recommend you watch this episode, it doesn't waste your time, there are plenty of great jokes and gags, and its characters are well written and expressive.
