Awesome series

Like the predecessor: "Shades of Guilt ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3689304/)" is each episode one case.

What I really liked was the little teaser of the case before the intro. Usually, you see a crime and you think guilty of the offender, but at the end of each episode, I have to take a step back and think about it. How would I act in such a situation? How would I decide? I think this is the key point of the series and its successor mentioned above. I really like those not black and white cases and I think this is very normal in reality.

Gripping Crime Drama

I loved the psychological unfolding of each crime story. Each episode was engaging and unveiled a dry humor amidst the criminal blunderings or horrors, as any true attempt to understand the behavior of others often does. The show unfolds the crimes as seen through the Defense Attorney's eyes, as the one true impartial defender of individuals seen at their worst. I only wish there were more than one season.

Good show - but mistake in "Summertime" episode?
ilkamarsh2 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Being a native Berliner, I am particularly enjoying this show. Like the previous reviewer said, they are not black and white "crimes" , it's about how do you do your best in a given situation. I do believe, though, that the ending of the "Summertime" episode which - I am assuming - was supposed to show that the lawyer had (purposely?) made a mistake calculating the daylight savings time/standard time difference was incorrect. Spring forward, Fall back - yes, 3:26 in standard time is indeed 2:26 in daylight savings time, not 4:26 like the ex-wife told the prosecutor it should have been at the end. A bit of confusion about how the time was never changed after the original installation in the summer which would make you think that the time shown on the display should have been daylight savings time...? But since the attendant verified the time against his watch during standard time, for some mysterious reason the summer install set the time to standard time. Sooooo - since this was the critical element of this episode, it seems to me it should have been scripted more carefully.
