- A woman, after an eerie phone call with a worried friend, is alerted to a presence in her home that threatens to reveal the true nature of her newest relationship.
- Thalia, a young woman in her teens (played by Ariana Medina), talks with a close friend (played by Megan Taylor, V.O.) on the phone. The friend questions her about how the two of them haven't been doing things they've planned before and Thalia claims she is not able to, due to a lot of stuff she must do at home. The friend raises the matter of how she hasn't been the same ever since she got together with 'him'. Thalia, who says her boyfriend's name is Jason, tries to rush the end of the call. When the friend calls out her strange behavior ("You know you've changed, right?"), Thalia claims that Jason loves her and is just protective, despite the friend's worries about him. Thalia hangs up on her and proceeds to go on with her night. After going to the bathroom - where we hear that a storm is brewing outside - she begins reading a book. But, shortly after, odd occurrences take place in her home, such as her lights flickering and eventually going out. She walks to the bathroom again, while the conversation with the friend - namely the friend's preoccupations regarding Jason - still rings with her. Thalia reaches the bathroom and looks at herself in the mirror; it is then revealed that the storm is, in fact, the apparition of a mirror reflection of Thalia, but this reflection looks physically battered, bruised, and mortified. Thalia stares at this reflection while confused and horrified, as we hear her sobbing in the background. The film concludes with a text that describes disturbing real world conclusions regarding relationship violence and gender violence.
