Holding The Sun is an entirely self funded and self produced short film by Dwayne Cameron.
The original final cut was a 45 minute long dramatic narrative short film. Cameron was going to extend it to a feature length film but instead chose to spend four months editing it to cut it down to only 15 minutes and in doing so created a heavily visual symbolic motif with next to no dialogue and instead relied on semiotic code to tell the story.
