THE REAL RED
arinoeneko8 July 2023
I don't have much to say, the episode is epic, like the old days. I loved the cast, especially seeing Andrew McCarthy, Red's loyal pilot. It's the first time we've seen him. The end is near and we know more and more about Red, I'm sure this will end great. It is the best series. Looking forward to seeing Red against hudson. Red always has his move prepared, watching the promo video at the end I think that Hudson will die from an attack by Red, I don't know what will happen to the task force, I think they will not betray Red. Can't wait to see the end. Red is the best character ever! I'm very happy they recorded the finale in Spain! My country :)

The End Is Near

Pretty good episode. One of the best episodes we have received for the past few seasons. This episode felt pretty classic like old times. Raises the tension and stakes that the Task Force and Red are not safe anymore, anything could happen. It keeps the viewer interested and guessing. I cannot wait for the finale. It is going to be epic.

The episode is also quite emotional. Red saying goodbye to his old friends and we get to finally see Edward, Red's famous and loyal pilot, in person.

After watching this episode, you don't know what is really going to happen to the Task Force. Don't know what will happen to Red as well. This is it. This will be the end of a great era.

Just like what Red said: "Things end. So new things can begin."

Perfect

Each episode towards the end gets better and better. This was one of the finest episodes of The Blacklist. It had all the ingredients to make a perfect episode and make sure everyone is hooked up for the final two episodes coming later this week.

It is heading towards the finest end it can receive. The suspense they are building about what is going to happen and who has to take the sacrifice is something I am very excited to see.

As an ardent fan, this is a treat they are offering. After the last few seasons expectations were not as high as they should have been, but this has been way above the expectation.

The best throw back cameo
luttilutter25 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Ok. This may be less about this specific episode and more about the show on the whole but damn I'm a sucker for a well timed, if-you-know-you-know suprise cameo.

There have been some episodes and seasons that were painful to get through in the ladt 10 years. I would even say that it all went a bit downhill after Keen departed but that would not be fair to the genius that is James Spader who has made this show what it is.

But, as a child of the 80s and the brat pack, I fully enjoyed the surprise cameo of Andrew McCarthy in this episode and I actually sat on my sofa applauding. It may just have made this all worthwhile. Well done!

What Have You Done For Me Lately
Hitchcoc26 February 2024
Hudson brings in all the forces. He plays his tapes for the big boys. Harold has to listen and can only talk about the good people and the accomplishments. While they are holding the meeting, Raymond comes on their screens and delivers a lecture about the idea that they wanted a task force, they wanted to have things done, but they have nothing but disdain. It's the usual political stuff. When the chips are down and you can't offer anything, start the blame game. We are now set with a challenge to the writers to come up with something that will tie ten years of pretty amazing stuff together. Go for it.
